About WQAP
• What is WQAP ?

Water Quality Association of the Philippines is an affiliate of a non-profit international trade association called the Water Quality Association (WQA-USA) with headquarters in Illinois, USA.It represents firms and individuals engaged in the design, manufacture, production, distribution, and sale of equipment, products, and services for providing quality water for household, commercial, and industrial applications.

• Why does it exist ?

It exists to promote, develop, and maintain in the members of the water quality improvement industry:

1. The highest principles of honesty, integrity, fairness, and professionalism;
2. The value of awareness & allegiance to the laws of the land, its regulations and codes that affect all aspects of the members’ businesses;
3. The dedication to a sound and competitive business practices as part of their obligations to the public, exercising truthfulness in advertising and promoting their products & services;
4. Fast, honest, and competent service to customers;
5. The advancement of knowledge and skills in technologies utilized inthe water quality improvement industry.

• What does it want to achieve ?

It is to see a nation where the consuming public’s right to quality water is preserved through an industry that has been COMPETENTLY DEVELOPED to addresscontinuing needs brought about by sociological, ecological, and economic changes.

• What are their objective ?

1. To promote closer camaraderie and fellowship among the local members and those from other countries.
2. To disseminate information on the aims and purposes of WQAP for the profits of its members and other information for the benefits of the consumers.
3. To undertake activities in pursuit of the objectives in the most ethical manner embodied in the WQAP code ethics.
4. To police ourselves and guard the association from another organizations and against clandestine persons who claim membership in the WQAP and use its logo to advance and promote personal interest.
5. To conduct seminars, symposiums, lectures on water treatment as a continuing education of its members and to edify the consumers.
6. To encourage active participation of the members in the activities of WQAP such as conventions, educational programs and other activities.
